Young Learners 4, 5 and 6 terminan el curso con un intercambio de conversación
On the last day of class the students from Young Learners 4, 5, and 6 celebrated the end of their courses with a fun academic exchange. The classes met with a group of American high school students from Kentucky who were completing a tour of Spain organized by Education First (EF) Educational Tours.
The event gave the kids a chance to practice the English skills they had developed during the course and also have fun meeting children their age from the United States. The students enjoyed a number of activities together, some of which the students themselves had selected, included icebreaking activities and games.
The students also discussed questions they had about the United States and American culture. The Young Learners groups were also eager to teach. They answered questions about Spain and Spanish culture and even helped the EF students learn a little Spanish. Afterwards the students enjoyed a picnic together while they continued their cultural and conversation exchange.
El último día de clase los alumnos de Young Learners 4, 5, 6 celebraron el fin del curso con un divertido intercambio académico de conversación. Se reunieron con un grupo de estudiantes estadounidenses procedentes de Kentucky que hacían un tour de España organizado por la agencia Education First (EF) Educational Tours.
El evento aportó a los alumnos la oportunidad de poner en práctica los conocimientos lingüísticos adquiridos durante el curso y también divertirse conociendo a un grupo de estadounidenses de su edad. Los grupos participaron en varias actividades y juegos, algunos que ellos mismos habían elegido.
Los chicos de Young Learners aprovecharon para hacer preguntas sobre Estados Unidos y la cultura americana. Pero también enseñaron, contestando preguntas sobre España y la cultura española e incluso les enseñaron a los niños del grupo EF un poco de castellano. Después todos se juntaron para comer y seguir su intercambio cultural.
