¡Young Learners 1 empieza el curso con mucha energía!

20151020_185953[1]Los alumnos de las clases de inglés Young Learners 1 han empezado en el Instituto, con sus clases después del colegio o los sábados por la mañana. Ha habido algo de sueño, pero…¡enseguida se han puesto las pilas para cantar, bailar, hablar, escuchar y hacer proyectos en inglés.

Lo primero que había que hacer era conocer en Instituto, así que dieron una vuelta por el edificio y el jardín para aprenderse los nombres en inglés.

Han empezado conociendo los personajes de Brainpop ESL, el programa que utilizamos en las clases de inglés Young Learners 1  a 3.  Como uno de ellos, Moby,  es un robot, los alumnos han construido sus propios robots utilizando formas de diferentes colores. ¿A que han quedado chulos?

En todas las clases cantan canciones y leen cuentos.

20151015_184224[1]Aquí los alumnos están elaborando su propia versión de Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See, de Bill Martin, Jr. después de escuchar el cuento.  Si quieren ver el cuento que hicieron, estará en la Biblioteca junto a varios de los robots. Aprendieron el cuento cantando, con la ayuda de vídeos como éste:

The Young Learners 1 groups started off the school year with lots of energy! First they had to get to know the Institute, so they took a tour to learn the names of all the places in English.

They also met the characters from Brainpop ESL, the  online program used in the Young Learners 1, 2 and 3 English classes. One of the characters, Moby, is a robot, so the children made robots out of different shapes and colors. Don’t they look cool?

20151020_185845[1]In every class the students listen to stories and songs. They made their own version of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See, by Bill Martin, Jr., which will be on display in the Library.  They used videos like this one and the one above to help them remember the words.
