Halloween at the International Institute!
[slideshow]What’s the difference between a pumpkin and a jack-o-lantern? A pumpkin is just….a pumpkin. A jack-o-lantern is when the pumpkin has a face, and a candle inside it so you can see it at night. We call it «carving pumpkins.» The Young Learners classes carved pumpkins right here at the International Institute to celebrate Halloween.

Students in Young Learners 3 have written original poems about autumn. They learned that another word for autumn is «fall.» That’s because the leaves FALL off the trees during this season!
