The YL4 M-W group tackled the Poe classic «Murders in the Rue Morgue» which is said to be the first modern detective story. Students then tested each other with true/false questions based on the story. We ended class with a round «Cluedo.» (It was Colonel Mustard with the dagger in the library).

The YL 2 group started off the trimester with activities on Dr. Martin Luther King using the past tense. The students learned about his importance in the history of the racial equality movement in the United States. We discussed the nonviolent protests he led to gain equality for all peoples.
