Young Learners 1 ¡pescando, creando y bailando!
The Young Learners 1 group went fishing last week! They fished out the letters to create the words related to art activities and feelings we have done and talked about throughout the course. They had a great time doing the activity, which helped them review and solidify their understanding of spelling words in a kinesthetic way. You can see in the pictures that they also made leprechaun hats for St. Patrick’s Day.
They also learned a lucky leprechaun dance and song. In case you would like to practice it at home, the words are: Put your hat on…Take your hat off…Put it on the ground and dance around it. They then do a ‘wiggly’ dance (wiggle your fingers, wiggle your arms, wiggle your shoulders, etc). Enjoy!
¡La clase de inglés Young Learners 1 fue a pescar la semana pasada! Pescamos a las letras y las utilizamos para deletrear palabras relacionadas con hacer arte y con sentimientos que habíamos practicado durante lo largo del curso. Disfrutaron de la actividad mucho, cuyo objetivo era repasar y solidificar la comprensión de deletrear el vocabulario de manera kinestetica. Se ve en las fotos que también hicieron gorros para el día de St. Patrick. Además aprendieron una canción y baile para la suerte.
